Important announcement just made for all those candidates who want to attempt CCIE Security and CCIE Storage Networking Lab exam. A compulsory core knowledge questions that was part of lab exam is waved off effectively from August 15, 2011. Although it won’t affect as whole because CCIE is not like CCNA and candidate should have detailed knowledge to successfully pass the lab. Moreover passing this 30 minute core knowledge questions session was necessary to achieve the CCIE certifications. Good news or bad news I don’t know, let us know what you think on this issue!
